Such as organ interludes and mini Sunday symphonies.
Where the girls win Pinewood Derby, and the men shave sparingly,

Our cute building was completed back in nineteen thirty-five.
Every coffee drinker knows that it's where Walnut meets with Vine.
It was built by our ward forebears and will stand the test of time,
The home of our dear ward!

Zion's quirky in the East Bay,

From the waters of the Bay up to the tips of Tilden's trees
And from Oakland's northern border to include all Albany
Our ward boundary stretches onward, where it stops: a mystery.
We welcome everyone!

The men's cookoff starts the season of the ward activities.
Halloween and Christmas follow, as do socials with ice cream.
We have luncheons gold and silver; shows of great variety,
Where we can sing this song!

There are many who attend the wondrous university
Where they study engineering, business, law, and chemistry.
And a few with luck may one day even earn a Ph.D.
So they can get a job!
