How the Berkeley Ward
Welcomes in a new cohort:
We hold a potluck meal starting every year
Where the men compete
Whipping up their favorite treats
Our ward family grows with each passing year

A cookoff in a crowded room
The smell of lots of yummy food
For a vote they can win the night
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers greeting
Up and down the Cultural Hall
Their posters hanging on the walls
Happy people
Waiting just to taste the flavors:
Or-e-o and vanilla!

Working hard to make my dish
Hoping for my humble wish
Trying everthing to win their love just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
All of us will get to choose
Oh, the friendship never ends
It goes on and on and on and on
