No more a waddler: a hyper toddler
Running 'round at the eventide
She's climbing down and up the futon
Giggling and bouncing high
I glance at my watch (and)
Realize it's late now
How can it be after nine?
I shouldn't really bathe you much later
But tomorrow should be fine
Behind the red recliner
As if you could ever hide
Bedtime, my darling!
I grab my girl and then I put a
New diaper on Ellie
And some 'jamas for the night.
I brush her teethies, sing a song, and say "Sleep tight."
New diaper on Ellie
And some 'jamas for the night.
I brush her teethies, sing a song, and say "Sleep tight."
Tiptoe away from her bedroom door now
A quiet that instills surprise
Every evening I keep cleaning
Toys that you leave behind
Often I am reminded
Of your eyes and laughing smile
My lovely daughter!
Each night I do the same thing with a
New diaper on Ellie
And some 'jamas for the night.
I brush her teethies, sing a song, and say "Sleep tight."
New diaper on Ellie
And some 'jamas for the night.
I brush her teethies, sing a song, and say "Sleep tight."
New diaper on Ellie
And some 'jamas for the night.
I brush her teethies, sing a song, and say "Sleep tight."

And some 'jamas for the night.
